Lizzy

Ms. Lizzy’s lifelong love of pets—dogs especially—combined with her passion for creativity led her to a career in professional pet grooming, which she has proudly pursued since 2020. DITR was excited to welcome her to the Diamond Team in 2025.

She loves her family and especially enjoys being an auntie to her niece, Aurora, and her nephew, Damon! Her own little family includes her beloved pets: Stella, a Blue Heeler (a.k.a. Stellabean or Stella Smella), her best friend since 2015, and her two adorable frogs, Venus and Neptune. Stella loves long walks, tearing up toys, running, playing with her pittie bestie Sadie, and of course—mealtime! Venus and Neptune love music, jumping, and mealtime as well.

After seeing the movie Coraline, Lizzy fell in love with Scottish Terriers. She also adores the look of Siamese cats.

In her spare time, Ms. Lizzy enjoys being with her loved ones, doing rewarding crafts, and listening to thoughtful podcasts and books. Her all-time favorite TV show is Adventure Time, and her current favorite movie is SLC Punk. R&B, hip hop, and rap are her top music genres, though she enjoys all kinds of music. Her current favorite song is “Didn’t Cha Know” by Erykah Badu.

Ms. Lizzy says DITR makes it easy to maintain a high standard of work through diligence and intention behind every step of the process. She remains motivated knowing her work enhances the comfort and well-being of pets and their families. In her personal life, she stays inspired by finding joy wherever she can and living in a meaningful, authentic way.

Looking toward the future, she plans to continue expanding her grooming knowledge and perfecting the techniques and tools that best support her style, while keeping herself safe and injury-free. Personally, she strives to keep learning, growing, and experiencing as much of the world as possible. She hopes to add pet rats—and maybe even a snake—to her family soon. She also has a long bucket list of skills she wants to learn, and we have no doubt she’ll check each one off!
